Last Saturday was truly a Night To Dream! The room was filled with joy, nostalgia, generosity, and, most of all, the spirit of Carlisle. As the night went on, we discussed how in 1968, Carlisle was just a dream in the minds of a group of interested citizens in the Martinsville Henry County area. While we celebrated our emerald anniversary and honored the past 55 years, we also spoke candidly about the needs for the future. In the past several years, increasing safety measures around campus has been one of the top priorities for the school. This year at the paddle raise, we asked for financial support to fund our safety initiative. During the paddle raise, we raised over $141,000! Words can not even begin to describe how grateful we are for the support shown for our students!
The Advancement Team, Auction Committee, and Carlisle faculty, staff, and admin extend heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported us in achieving our goal! Together, we surpassed expectations, raising over $285,000 as a whole, nearly tripling our initial goal. We are truly amazed and deeply thankful to every member of our Carlisle family for their incredible generosity and dedication to our school.
For those who won items, please visit the school this week to collect them during the following times: 8:15 AM – 9:00 AM or 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM. Invoices were sent through email today.
