Enrollment Fee

  • There is a new student enrollment fee of $150.
  • There is a re-enrollment fee of $150 for current students who enroll after the Wednesday, March 18, 2020, re-enrollment deadline.

Supply Fee – REQUIRED

There is a $200 supply for all students in lower and middle school.

  • Pre-K – The supply fee for preschool will include workbooks, online subscriptions, classroom supplies, basic school supplies, headphones, art smock and supplies required by the Department of Social Services for certification.
  • Lower School – The supply fee for lower school will include workbooks, novels, online subscriptions, classroom supplies, basic school supplies, headphones, art supplies, literacy resources, student planner and Weekly Readers.
  • Middle School – The supply fee for middle school will include a Spanish workbook, English novels, basic school supplies, classroom supplies, student planner, online subscriptions as well as the annual rental fee for textbooks.
  • Upper School – Due to the nature of upper school with individualized schedules and needs, students are responsible for procuring required materials. Supply lists will be available in July 2020.

The supply fee is used to purchase expendable tools and supplies at a bulk rate. Each division has specific expenses for which the supply fee is applied as summarized above. The supply fee does not cover field trips, extra-curricular activities, or expenses related to school-sponsored productions (dramatic, choral, instrumental, etc.).

Technology Fee – REQUIRED

The revenue from this fee will be used to allow Carlisle School to keep pace with the rapid changes in technology by supporting digital services such as internet access, e-mail, security, software, computer labs, library resources, and wireless networks. Our goal here at Carlisle School is to enhance the learning experiences of our students by upgrading devices in classrooms and adding new smart/multimedia technology throughout the school.

  • Pre-K through 3 rd grade – TBD
    • Carlisle School will provide 1:1 device access in the classroom for students in Pre-K through 3rd grade
    • Teachers will have the ability to fully monitor and control what students can access, which will help to eliminate distractions to learning
    • Carlisle School will have better control over network usage, data storage, malware and virus protection, etc.
    • Students and teachers will all be on the same platform which has been proven to increase productivity for all students.

  • 4th grade through 8th grade – TBD
    • Carlisle School will provide students in 4th through 8th grade with an iPad and keyboard for use in the classroom and at home.
    • Students will no longer be allowed to use their own devices at school.
    • Equipment used at school must be owned and maintained by Carlisle
    • School to ensure student safety as well as uphold the premise of the technology program as outlined.
    • Teachers will be able to fully monitor and control what students can access which will help to eliminate distractions to learning.
    • Carlisle School will have more control over network usage, data storage, malware and virus protection, etc.
    • Students and teachers will all be on the same platform which has been proven to increase productivity for all students.
    • The fee covers the cost of insurance for damage repair or replacement, meaning students will never be without a device when required.
  • 9th through 12th – TBD
    • Carlisle School intends to enhance the learning experience of all students through the upgrades to equipment and infrastructure. This will include access points and classroom devices in the Upper School.

Device Lease for Upper School Students – OPTIONAL

There are a limited number of devices (MacBooks and Chromebooks) available for lease.

  • $355 for the lease and insurance on a MacBook Air
  • $165 for the lease and insurance on a Chromebook

Athletics Fees

  • $100 per student, per season (There will be no additional fee for additional sports in the same season.)
  • $250 per student for all three seasons
  • $500 maximum per family, per year

Transportation

  • Regular Routes Available – TBD
    • Roundtrip – $1,400 per child
    • Morning or afternoon only – $900 per child
  • Single Trips – $10 per ride
    • Single bus trips are allowed for students in need of occasional transportation.
    • Each single trip must be approved in advance.
