Carlisle School is proud to announce that seniors De’Miya Martin and Charity White have been awarded two of the most prestigious scholarships at the University of Virginia: the Walentas Scholarship and the Echols Scholarship. These honors recognize their exceptional academic achievements, leadership, and resilience, setting them apart among thousands of high school students nationwide.
The Walentas Scholarship, offered through the Jefferson Scholars Foundation, is a merit-based award designed to develop future leaders, scholars, and engaged citizens. Covering the full cost of attendance for four years, the scholarship also provides a wealth of enrichment opportunities, including:
