Summer Lawrence, a member of the Carlisle class of 2016 and a University of Chapel Hill alumna, has recently appeared as a guest star on Episode 2 of the Blue Ridge TV show, available on demand from the Cowboy Way Channel (INSP Network). She is also set to play a supporting role in the upcoming rom-com MERV on AMAZON. Beyond her on-screen roles, Summer serves as a Senior Producer of Branded Content at NASCAR, where she manages the onboarding and execution of branded content initiatives in line with their partners’ objectives and NASCAR’s brand identity. Balancing her career in content production with her passion for acting, she brings a unique perspective to both realms, which she deeply enjoys.

Reflecting on her journey to success, Summer acknowledged Carlisle’s pivotal role by stating, “I always wanted to work in a creative field, and Carlisle was the start of my journey and the foundation of my love of the arts. I was fortunate to be part of such a supportive, tight-knit community that fostered both academic growth and creative exploration. Carlisle was a big part of my development and finding my confidence to pursue my interests and develop my talents. I wouldn’t be where I am if I hadn’t had the encouragement of my teachers and peers at Carlisle.”
