Tuition Assistance

Carlisle School is the smartest, most beneficial investment you can make for your child. Through tuition assistance opportunities, we are committed to making a Carlisle education affordable to families from a wide economic range. Carlisle strives to provide adequate assistance for as many students to attend as possible in an effort to enroll a socio-economically diverse student body. 

4 Things to Know about Tuition Assistance at Carlisle School:

1. Paying for school is primarily the family’s responsibility. All families are expected to contribute to the cost of their student’s education. Awards do not cover 100% of tuition.
2. By following the tuition assistance application steps and meeting deadlines, your family has a greater chance of receiving aid.
3. Qualifying for an amount of financial aid does not guarantee an award. Assistance is limited. The need for assistance always exceeds our resources; please take that into account and meet deadlines.
4. Tuition assistance may be applied only to tuition and fees. Expenses not covered include lunch, books, and transportation.

We are excited to announce that Carlisle School has chosen Clarity as its new tuition assistance application platform. Carlisle School is proud to use the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application, which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts.

To get started, please create an account using the Clarity Application. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is mobile-friendly, so you can complete it anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.

Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity Application. Carlise School may require you to upload additional documentation, including your 2024 W-2, disability verification documents, social security verification documents, business tax returns, and/or partnership tax returns.

For returning families, the deadline for completing the financial aid application, including relevant supplemental documents, is March 31, 2025.

If you need help completing your application, in-app support is available through the “Help” button at the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at support@clarityapp.com or 206-210-3752 in English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.

• Families seeking assistance should make it known at the start of the admissions process.
• Prospective students must complete the Application for Admission before Carlisle will consider their requests for tuition assistance.
• Admission decisions are not affected by tuition assistance, and an award is made only after a student has been accepted.
• Financial awards are based on the family’s financial need, not on extraordinary academic ability or athletic ability.
• Families who qualify for tuition assistance may also be eligible for scholarship funding through The Carlisle Foundation.
