“Congratulations on your retirement, Joanna. I have enjoyed working with all these years. Middle School will be a different place without your smile. Your time is now yours – enjoy every moment! – Tracy Guebert, Parent & Librarian
“I wanted to think you for everything you did for me, even though it was my first year at Carlisle School. I remember when I first walked into the classroom, and I said: “Good morning, how are you doing?” I was scared the first day, but you made me feel I was welcomed, and I really do thank you, and I did not know I would be getting a text saying that you are leaving, I wanted you to stay and help me do my math and help me get better. You were the best teacher I ever had. And I thank you for being my teacher for my first year at Carlisle School! I remember every time class was over, your favorite quote was, “Remember to be kind to one another, see you tomorrow.” I really really really thank you for everything you did for me, and thanks for all the help, and support! I love you, Mrs. Keyser, and have fun on your retirement! Carlisle Chief Forever! -Camden Holland, Student
“Joanna, I will never forget the time that you and Rhonda volunteered to help me grocery shop for the Back to School Picnic. We had the best time speed-shopping at Aldi with mounded up carts that looked like we had been playing Supermarket Sweep. That was such a fun afternoon getting to know you better and seeing your on-point Aldi shopping skills! You are always so happy, kind, and welcoming to everyone you encounter. Enjoy your retirement, and I hope to see you out on the lake trail soon.” – Jennifer Doss, Resource Development and Marketing Director
