Like most independent schools, Carlisle’s operational costs are not entirely covered by tuition. Bridgforth Fund for the Arts

This fund is named in memory of Elizabeth Lee Bridgforth, a class of 2002 Carlisle Alumna. Elizabeth was passionate about dance and theater and Carlisle School. We invite you to support her legacy with a charitable gift to enhance the performing arts at Carlisle.

Since being created by her friends and classmates, this fund has helped purchase a new stage and stage curtain at Walker Auditorium, new flooring, a new motorized projection screen and stage projector, and upgraded sound equipment for productions. Every dollar makes a difference!

Carlisle offers a need-based financial aid program for students. If you are able to do so, please consider making a tax-deductible donation that will be used exclusively for scholarships to make Carlisle’s education available to those students whose families are struggling financially due to the pandemic. Gifts of any size make a significant impact and help diversify the student body at Carlisle School by making our exceptional education available to students from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds.

The Carlisle School Scholarship Foundation is part of the Education Improvement Scholarship Tax Credits (EISTC) program established by the Virginia Department of Education. The program offers donors a 65 percent state tax credit on top of any applicable deductions for charitable giving on their tax returns.
