Discontinued support for Google Drive desktop application

I hope everyone is having a great start to the school year so far!

I have some recent news about the Google Drive desktop application that I felt is necessary to share.

Let me first say that Google Drive cloud storage is NOT changing, only the desktop app for PC and Mac will have discontinued support in 2018. Google is updating their desktop Drive application and changing over to Drive File Stream and/or Backup & Sync for 2018. These applications will be available as an end user app or for business use. Please check out the two links below for more in-depth details about the changes that are coming and how it could affect you.

If you do not currently use the Google Drive desktop application, you may continue using Google Drive via web access as normal.
